How accurate are the predictions?

Predictions are based on several years of official cutoff and rank data, adjusted for your category, quota and home state. They show realistic chances, not guarantees — which is why results are grouped into Safe, Target and Reach.

How does the AI shortlist work?

It weighs your rank, preferences, budget and location against historical cutoffs to suggest a balanced list — a few safe options, several good targets and one or two reach colleges worth trying.

What is the difference between CRL rank and category rank?

CRL (Common Rank List) is your overall rank among all candidates. Category rank is your rank within your own category — EWS, OBC-NCL, SC or ST — and reserved seats are allotted using it.

Why do home-state and other-state cutoffs differ?

NITs reserve a large share of seats for students from their own state, so home-state closing ranks are usually more relaxed. IIITs and most other institutes admit on an all-India basis.

How should I order my choices?

Put the options you want most at the top — being allotted a lower choice never blocks a higher one. Mix Safe, Target and Reach options, and re-check the list after each mock allotment.

What do freeze, float and slide mean?

Freeze accepts your seat and exits further rounds. Float accepts it but keeps you in the running for a higher choice at any college. Slide keeps you at the same college while trying for a better branch there.

Which documents should I keep ready?

Your admit card and score card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category or EWS certificate in the prescribed format if applicable, domicile certificate, ID proof and photographs. Keep scans within the portal's size limits.

What if I don't get a seat in the main rounds?

Vacant seats are offered in special rounds after the main rounds, and cutoffs there can be more relaxed. A counsellor can help you plan choices for those rounds.

How do counselling sessions work?
